FAQ'S

I’m a new client, what should I expect for my first visit?

Your first visit here at Zenith Studio will start with a thorough consultation to understand your preferences and wants out of your brow/lash appointment. We understand that everyone is different and what you like will vary from person to person. It is not a one size fits all so a thorough consultation is imperative to ensure each client is happy with their final result.

Is brow lamination for everyone?

No, brow lamination isn’t for everyone. If your hairs are very stubborn and grow downwards or very fragile and sparse brow lamination may not be for you. If you’re unsure, speaking with your brow artist before booking a brow lamination appointment is highly recommended.

How often should I be getting my brows done?

The timeframe to be getting your brows done is different for everyone but it should range anywhere from 4-6 weeks. Some people with very fast growth will spread their appointments less than 4 weeks apart and others with very slow brow growth will spread their appointments more than 6 weeks apart. It is recommended to ask your brow artist how often you should be getting your brows done as they will know your shape and growth patterns.

How do I keep a consistent brow shape?

The best way to keep your brows in shape is avoiding plucking/trimming at home all together. It is recommended that you make regular brow appointments 4-6 weeks apart depending on the speed of your hair growth.  Do not jump from artist to artist as every artist does brows differently and to keep a consistent shape you need to stay consistent with one brow artist.

I over plucked my brows for years when I was younger and now they don’t grow. Will they ever grow back?

Unfortunately in most cases, no. Over plucking can cause permanent damage to the hair follicle and makes it impossible for new growth to form. Age is also a factor as the older we get the less hair follicles we have to produce new hairs.

Why do the hairs at the front of my brow grow differently?

Your hair growth pattern for each brow can be different. The hair follicle grows a different way making some hairs appear “to stick out” and others “straight up”. This is very common and very normal. Brow lamination can correct this or a good brow styling wax/gel.

I’ve never had a lash lift before, is it painful?

A lash lift should be painless, however, the fumes from the perming solution can cause some irritation to the eyes. This should subside quickly. If it doesn’t, you need to alert your lash artist. Either the artist hasn’t placed the perming solution correctly or your eyes are very sensitive and aren’t suitable for the treatment.

Are lash lifts for everyone?

Lash lifts are suitable for most, however, individuals with extremely short/damaged lashes are not suitable for the treatment. It is recommended to start a lash growth serum to get your lashes in a healthy condition before getting the treatment.

Are children allowed at Zenith Studio?

Babies are welcome at Zenith Studio, however, toddlers and children who are able to walk are not allowed unless someone is able to supervise them. There are sharp objects, hot wax and many other things they can harm themselves with at the studio.
